A backup listing alone does not prove the project can be restored.
Step by step
- Identify the files, database, configuration and email data affected, plus the last verified recovery point.
- Ask who can restore each component, where the copy is stored and what would be lost; agree when to abandon the change.
- Confirm that an authorised person can access the recovery material and perform a controlled test when appropriate.
Keep the result of the final check and any unresolved question with your project records.
