Why this matters
Deleting a visible secret does not make the original credential safe again.
Step by step
- Identify which credential was exposed and the systems or files where it appeared without repeating it in another message.
- Ask the responsible owner to revoke or rotate it, update legitimate dependants and remove public exposure through an approved process.
- Verify the replacement works and the exposed credential no longer grants access.
Keep the result of the final check and any unresolved question with your project records.
Availability depends on the product, permissions and management agreement. Use the existing support conversation for the same issue.
