A ticket link can contain information intended for the customer and support team. Removing the screenshot limits further exposure, but does not prove that nobody copied the address.
- Remove or restrict the shared image where you are authorised to do so. Record where it appeared and the approximate exposure period without reposting the full private link.
- Tell support which ticket was involved through a verified private channel. Ask whether the exposed link permits access and what restriction or replacement is supported; do not assume changing the portal password invalidates every ticket link.
- Review whether the image also exposed passwords, reset links or personal information. Report those items separately so the responsible owner can take the appropriate recovery action.
Confirm the action taken with support and use a properly redacted image for any further discussion. Keep only the incident details needed for follow-up, rather than circulating the original screenshot.
